Children’s Environmental Parliament 2023
The Children’s Environmental Parliament project will be taking place from January to March 2023 for 5 Year 6 classes in Hammersmith and Fulham and 5 from Kensington and Chelsea primary schools.
This is a free project supported by LB Hammersmith and Fulham’s Children’s Services department and RBKC Climate Change Team. We delivered the project in partnership with other local environmental organisations.
10 Year 6 classes will take part in an environmental and citizenship project, each class choosing their own topic, during the spring term. The Children’s Environmental Project will include learning about local democracy, environmental research, a visit to a place of interest and an opportunity to meet relevant professionals.
At the end of the project, some children will be invited to present their project to their peers and invited guests at the council chamber in Kensington Town Hall on Wednesday 22nd March 2023.
