1. Information about you

1.1 Personal information constitutes any information that identifies you as an individual, as opposed to an employee or representative of an organisation. For subscribers to the Newsletter (“subscribers”), the information consists of your name, title, and email address. In addition, we will hold the physical address of individual members of the Charity (“members”) in order to conduct our business in accordance with our constitution and company law.

1.2 We will collect personal information from you when you enquire about becoming a member of the Charity and/or register in a personal capacity to receive our newsletter or register for one of our programmes

2. Our use of this information

2.1 Your personal information will only be used to communicate with you, in the case of subscribers and members, for the purposes of sending you the quarterly Newsletter and other information about our activities, such as our Annual Report. In the case of members, the personal information will in addition be used to communicate matters relating to the administration of the Charity in accordance with its constitution and company law.

2.2 We will not share your information with third parties.

3.1 We will take reasonable precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration (except when changes are notified and authorised by you) of information you give us.

3.2 Communications will be sent to subscribers by e-mail. For ease of use and compatibility, communications will not be sent in an encrypted form unless you require it and provide the certification to enable us to communicate with you in that way. E-mail unless encrypted is not a fully secure means of communication. Whilst we endeavour to keep our systems and communications protected against viruses and other harmful effects we cannot bear responsibility for all communications being virus-free.

3.3 Communication with members may be by e-mail or by post, depending on the purpose of the communication.
