Children’s Parliament on the Environment 2013

This year we are working with Ten Year 6 classes on Children’s Parliament projects. For the first time we are working with a Kensington and Chelsea School, Servite, in addition to 9 Hammersmith and Fulham Schools. We have enjoyed getting children out and about, researching  environmental issues and making local discoveries. Topics include The Rainforests  with Kenmont, Sir John Lillie’s Local History, Recycling with Melcombe, Sustainable Water Use and Drainage with Miles Coverdale, Healthy Living with Lena Gardens, Sustainable Travel to School with Good Shepherd, Fulham Reach with Queens Manor and Fulham Wharf with Sulivan Primary. The schools will present their projects at Hammersmith Town Hall on the morning of 12th March.
