Expand your teaching beyond the classroom and develop a range of practical teaching activities that you can use with your own class in your own school grounds or local park.

Learn new skills that are particularly important in delivering the new national curriculum in science and geography today

Pond dipping     * environmental games for active learning with your class    * identifying and classifying minibeasts  * using maps in the park   *risk assessments for safe learning

This course in run by Holland Park Ecology Centre and the Urban Studies Centre who both have a particular expertise in outdoor education. It is based in the beautiful surroundings of Holland Park’s private  wildlife area.

£90 -Hammersmith and Fulham, RB Kensington and Chelsea and City of Westminster teachers
