Children’s Parliament on the Environment 2013
Well done to all ten primary schools who took part in Hammersmith and Fulham’s Twelfth Children’s Parliament on the Environment, held this Tuesday at the Council Chamber of Hammersmith Town Hall. 80 Year 6 children from 10 primary schools presented an environmental topic they had been researching with the Urban Studies Centre to an audience of children and interested adults. The event was chaired by Councillor Helen Binmore, H&F cabinet member for Children’s Services and judges included the mayor of Hammersmith and Fulham, Belinda Donovan, Ann Debono, Head of School Improvement and Hilda McCafferty, Chair of the Urban Studies Centre.…
