Mudlarks Summer Challenge: And the winners are…
We’re please to announce the winners of this year’s Mudlarks Summer Challenge: Zain, Anna and J’da! Well done! During the summer we ran a play-scheme in partnership with HCGA at Ravenscourt Park glasshouses and Phoenix Farm in White City. Many families had the chance to participate, enjoy outdoor activities and we got to make mini-gardens (gardens fairies included), nature crowns, mobiles and a bunch of other nature crafts and science activities including pond dipping, bee keeping and some planting. Autumn Walks Programme: Kensington and Chelsea Strolls!
Residents of RBKC….Join us for some wonderful FREE Autumn walks in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea ! These walks are delivered in partnership with HCGA for Kensington and Chelsea Adult Education Service. All our walks have been risk assessed ahead of time and are delivered within the government requirements for tour and walk leaders re: coronovirus. Outdoor Learning CPD with Sulivan Primary staff
On 4th October we were really please to provide a CPD session for Sulivan Primary School’s whole staff team. Staff are really keen to use their outdoor space more as a healthy venue for learning so we got together with HCGA to demonstrate some simple activities and techniques that teachers can do with their class in the school grounds and perhaps then bring the learning back to the classroom. Summer Playscheme 2020
Despite social distancing and increased health and safety requirements due to Covid 19… we still had a lovely time at the Summer Playscheme in Hammersmith and Fulham this summer. Go Wild! was organised in partnership with Hammersmith Community Gardens Association and took place at Ravenscourt Park Glasshouses and Phoenix School Farm. We had a great time trying out a number of different STEAM activities as part of our John Lyon’s Charity funded Urban STEAM project and enjoyed exploring nature around both gardens which were in full summer flower.
