Mudlark School at BBC Studios
Students from Brackenbury Primary School, who participated in our Mudlarks Project, were invited on Friday 1st Nov to BBC Studios in White City to take part in their sustainability week. The children had the opportunity to showcase the Mudlarks Conference 2019 film followed by a Q&A session with BBC Studio’s staff about they learned during the project and how to tackle plastic pollution.
Praveen Gopalan, BBC Studios Head of Sustainability, who kindly invited the children to the BBC Studios gave us a tour of their offices which featured some sustainable initiatives and practices they have been implementing to reduce their carbon footprint.
Children also had the chance to have a go at the giant carbon footprint snakes and ladders before heading back to school with a big smile in their face.
