Earls Court Past and Present Free Sessions!

Over the summer term we are able to offer a limited number of FREE local history walks to primary school Key Stage 2 classes in the Earls Court area. These will include an introduction in the classroom followed by a guided walk in the local area, uncovering the secrets of Earls Court’s special places like Brompton cemetery, Normand Park, the Empress State building and Earls Court One and 2. We will uncover some of the fascinating stories of the area.

Did you know….

…..a famous children’s author found inspiration in Earls Court?

…Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show played to thousands of visitors a year?

…A real American Indian Chief is buried in Brompton Cemetery?

We will also discover more about the plans for regenerating Earls Court that are beginning to take shape today.

The sessions will incorporate aspects of history and geography, focusing on the local area
